A GROUP OF CHILDREN FROM VIETNAM
This group of custode children are from Vietnam, some of them do not speak a single word of cambodian, They live on the left side of the river Mekong and everyday they walk 4 kilometers to reach our restaurant. They pick up anything from the street to sell it. They do not know how to write ore read, non cambodian neither vietnamese.

A PRESENT FROM BONZES
From 13th up to 27th september there is the Encetres party at the pagoda, the cambodian people bring some food to the temple offer it to bonzes who have plenty of food, because of that. The bonzes share the food with the children of the restaurant so in these dates oun customers will have an added meal that the bonzes will take to the restaurant around 1 pm.

Since the number of children coming for a meal is raising we have decided to rent a new place (9 x 16 mt), near by our restaurant that it's going to cost 330 dollars monthly. In this space they are going to rest, read, write, draw and play.

The number of children is raising and we have decided to open the Restaurant in the afternoon, too, from 3 pm to 6 pm, from Monday to Saturday for a group of children (30/50) that cannot attend the restaurant during the morning, so starting on september 16th we will have this schedule:

Today, Excellency Kunthea Borey, secretary of the President of the House of Congress and the wife of Excellency Nim Thot came to meet the children of the restaurant together with a Japanese molks delegation.
Excellency Kunthea Borey and the wife of Excellency Nim Thot donated a ton of rice to our restaurant; the delegation of japanese monks donated to each one of the 180 children of the restaurant a package of hygienic products and school supplies.
Before the ceremony, we have been cooking desserts for the children.

This morning a new child arrived to LRDE. He is a beggar and he was walking by the restaurant and we allowed him to have a meal. While he asks for money he helps his father walking. His father is blind.

On april 6 th we will take 100 children to the swimming pool, we will pick them up among the ones that regurarly attend school. It's a present for the Kmerr new year eve. In november 2010 we took 100 children to the seaside. It was their first time!
